Last week, 190 paintings lined the walls of an exhibition in Edinburgh, Scotland. As part of the annual competition, visitors were invited to vote for their favourite piece. Pam’s painting was voted the third most popular painting in the entire show!

Megg has been following along with some of the lessons with her Year 9 students. “It gave them a real sense of true artistic achievement. They were heads down, headphones on complete engagement.”

It is lovely to see all of these paintings. I particularly like the paintings from lessons that I struggled with, like Cornish Seascape. This one was not a big success for me (tried twice, gave up, lol), but when I look at Elaine Gillespie’s version, I am inspired to try again. It is truly lovely! Thanks for sharing.

It was a joy to see so much individualization and soulful representation of each artist with a warm cup of coffee this morning. It was as if it were a window into a class room, observing the smiling faces of creative people embracing their natural talents and showcasing them to the world. Sprinkling goodness into the day.

    Thank you!

Gorgeous! Each one is a lovely little world of its very own. It must be SO satisfying to have such amazing students, Will! And to see their unique take on your ideas. Really appreciated seeing these and getting your emails. I tend to ignore the emails for months and then open them all at once, like today, haha. It’s inspiring.
